You shouldn’t use the specified molding that comes with this OEM part.
You can’t secure it without adhesive, and relying on double-sided tape or other vague methods is poor for serviceability.

Suzuki 94631-44110 <\/a> The price has gone up quite a bit since the old days, but there’s no other option.
It has metal inside and can handle most thicknesses. And it wraps around the entire tank with ease (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It clicks in with a satisfying feel and comes out easily.

This rear reservoir hose band is from a Bandit 1200 or something more recent.

The GSX-R from this era used a band-type, but swapping it for the modern version is more efficient going forward.
We always want to absorb and use good things, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
