I don’t think I’ll ever buy a bigger bike again…
The last one I buy will be… this one! \u2192 Inazuma 1200<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you… serious? ( \uff9f\u0414\uff9f) Really?

This is quite an underrated gem… or should I say, a quirky masterpiece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Simple air-cooled engine (though it’s oil-cooled)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you classify by water-cooled or air-cooled, it’s an air-cooled engine. Oil-cooling is definitely a derivative of that.
The structure is extremely simple and visually satisfying.
It’s a beautifully designed engine.

And the engine is extremely durable.
If you don’t ride it recklessly in the city, 80,000 kilometers is easy, and it can easily go over 100,000 kilometers still running strong. \u266c
Of course there’s some wear and tear, but excessive oil consumption, white smoke, or unstoppable oil leaks are rare.
Naturally, if you abuse it or don’t treat it with care, it won’t last long.
But basically it’s tough and there’s little to worry about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Parts compatibility heaven (\u00b4\u2200\uff40*) hehe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Suzuki’s parts compatibility is incredible.
The more you learn about it, the more convenient it becomes, and the fun definitely doubles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s the inspection issue, but you can even fit a GSXR1100 engine.
By swapping the intake manifold, you can freely use stock carburetors from 32\u03c6 to 40\u03c6, or up to 41\u03c6 for aftermarket ones. *Though I haven’t confirmed if there’s any contact…
The more you think about the possibilities, the more exciting it becomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To put it nicely, it has a gentle feel (*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With 1200cc (1156cc\u2014nice number), it has decent performance.
But given the various regulations that were starting to come in at that time, the low-end is moderate and the high-end doesn’t have any particular sharpness.
However, since it’s been tuned down to that state, there’s the fun of waking it up. It’s a bike where you can enjoy the potential for improvement and customization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, it’s not very popular.
The market it was targeting was also a bit off, and it definitely struggled when it was new.
I wonder if the GSF1200 and Inazuma 1200 were released in the opposite order… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you buy from a shop it’s a bit pricey (compared to the new car price), but it’s still affordable. <\/a>
The number of used units is basically declining. And they’re getting older year by year (‘;’)
If you think it’s good, get it! That’s the rule of buying used. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on your ideas, the look can change dramatically (‘;’)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For example, CB-F style<\/a>

For example, Katana style<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, GS<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, Impulse<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can even enjoy classic bikes through cosplay. Both looks and performance have high customization potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, it’s a bike from 20 years ago. Passion is essential<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can’t just ride it hands-free.
If you want that retro vibe, you’d be better off riding a CB1100 (SC65) or Z900RS for peace of mind.
It falls into the semi-classic category now, so the owner’s passion is important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you want to ride a carb bike! If you want to ride a twin-shock! If you want to ride air-cooled! If you want to ride a naked! Then I think this is a very good bike for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
