The customer requested installation of an engine guard-type component.

I’ve removed and reinstalled the existing one during oil-cooled maintenance before, but…
it’s quite a sharp product, isn’t it? (Sharp and impressive are compliments, right?) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you first open it, you’re struck by the sheer number of parts.
It comes with numerous spring washers, thoughtfully included…

The bolts were grade 10.9, so I was relieved. (According to the markings.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more parts there are, the more labor and mistakes increase.
I wish there was a better way to handle this, but I understand the seller’s perspective too, so it’s complicated… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First of all, no matter what you do, the fit is extremely poor… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lower part even contacts the frame… it’s impressive, really. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The right-side mount damper is set too deep, meaning the fastening doesn’t bottom out, resulting in deformation and incomplete tightening. So I fabricated a spacer. First, one piece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replace the engine rear-side hanger bolt and insert a spacer to secure it, but…
isn’t it thin? Quite thin. So I decided to make it thicker to prevent deformation and ensure solid fastening. That’s two more pieces here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is for the right side (4 pieces), left side (3 pieces).

The front engine hanger (M8) spacer is also extremely thin, and it doesn’t bottom out\u2014or rather, it doesn’t even reach…
I wonder if this is a product you’re supposed to force on with brute strength… it’s a product that won’t fit properly no matter what.
I was quite surprised, to say the least.
Before I knew it, the afternoon had passed, and the M8 bolt length wasn’t even enough. Fortunately, I had the right size in stock, but…

Naturally, the mounting hole diameter has been enlarged.
You can force it on, but that makes future removal difficult, which is something you should avoid. A part only truly functions when it can be removed and reinstalled smoothly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it’s all clean and neat, with nothing getting in the way.
The BT 12V? It’s co-fastened to the starter relay side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, there are a lot of custom-made parts, and checking stroke clearance and planning the wiring layout takes a tremendous amount of time and effort.
However, if you’re the type who just wants the drive recorder installed and recording without worrying about removal and reinstallation, you might not understand…

This isn’t a job we take on just because anyone asks, so please understand.
