Today I’m making small parts to install the motorcycle drive recorder EDR21-G\u03b1!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was torn between the Daytona Mivue\u2122 M760D, but I felt Mitsuba was still the better choice.<\/a>
Motorcycle drive recorders should get even better, but with this type of product, we can’t wait from an insurance perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The issue with the sidestand being hard to deploy.

I realized later that this probably isn’t for the Inazuma.
The kickstand should normally be on the sole side, so it shouldn’t be hard to deploy.

Lots of mysteries with a used bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking closely, it appears to have been reattached.

I’ll try not to think too hard about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bent a 5mm round rod quickly with the bender<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I made it wide so you can deploy it with either your toes or heels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am I the only one who thinks installing this at a mass-market shop is impossible?

After much deliberation, I made something like this.

That’s the rear camera done. I think it’s best to keep things neat and tidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll do a full stroke to find the camera mounting location.
It probably won’t compress that much, but just to be safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve seen people not open the cap and just tighten it down hard with tie-downs before, but…
I think that’s actually more work. Loosening the cap is gentler on both people and things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full stroke is no problem, and it doesn’t obstruct the appearance, so it looks stylish.

I’ll make a switch bracket.
It’s a switch you want to press easily, so sticking it on the top bridge? That’s just not it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenance is also compromised. Mounting it at hand level seems simplest to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
