Uncle (*\u00b4\u03b5`*)\uff81\uff6d\uff6f\uff81\uff6d and friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Back in the day, didn&#8217;t you dream of a full-scale meter? <br> I swapped one in right away when I was riding an XJR1200. <br><br> Those were the good old days when you could make a living just knowing part numbers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> With meters going digital lately, analog might be making a comeback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> When I customize my own bikes, I usually don&#8217;t use the stock meter. <br> But this time is special&#8230; <br> I&#8217;ve already ordered a STACK8130, but with the way things are, it shows no sign of arriving. <br><br> Is this some kind of shipping scam? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Anyway, the price was reasonable and the mileage was high. <br> I wanted to ride the Inazuma a bit more stock, so I grabbed this one while I could, savoring the original charm (*&#8217;\u03c9&#8217;*) <br><br> I don&#8217;t go that fast, but a full-scale meter really does have great balance. I find myself admiring it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Cable-driven analog meters will disappear more and more from here on. <br> Buy new ones while you can (if the price is reasonable). <br><br> There&#8217;s meter overhaul work, but basically I don&#8217;t think small parts for overhaul are being delivered. Probably. <br> So it&#8217;s just disassembly, cleaning, adjustment, and lubrication. Bad parts get swapped out for good stock\u2014that&#8217;s the flow. <br><br> If you think of it as keeping the same parts in use for a long time, that might be the right way to see it. <br> Old original analog meters will definitely be discontinued.
