Lock nuts and lock washers should be new together.
We remove the factory thread locker and use an applicator type.

When pre-coated, it’s hard to manage torque and tightness, so we do it this way every time.
*Being gentle on the countershaft too…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning is minimal wash oil with a brush scrubbing.

At the very end, we use parts cleaner lightly.
Relying less on parts cleaner reduces waste and feels more eco-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switching to aluminum pistons greatly improves operation and frees you from rust.
Suzuki parts can be discontinued or expensive, so using Kawasaki ones works well.
