If you have the parts, that’s fine, but if you don’t, things get really tough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Think of it this way: it’s like a required component for inspection is missing. It’s equivalent to not having turn signals or mirrors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if emissions test results are perfect, it will still fail. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is what happens when the inspector doesn’t notice the secondary air system.
Inspectors can’t possibly know everything about every motorcycle and car model.

The common saying “it passed last time” just means you got lucky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If OEM secondary air parts become unavailable, it’s the worst case scenario. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OEM parts that fit neatly into the engine layout.
If these become discontinued and unavailable, there’s nothing you can do.

Custom fabrication? Hunting for used parts? It becomes a real nightmare.
I recommend getting them sooner rather than later.

This is done to quickly collect and share information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From what I’ve heard, back in the day,
even if an inspection office A found something unfixable and failed a bike,
inspection office B might pass it if they didn’t find it.
Taking advantage of human error?

Nowadays, thanks to this terminal system, information is shared from Hokkaido in the north all the way to Kyushu and Okinawa in the south. You can check the history instantly.
Unless you restore it to original, you won’t get your inspection passed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I accidentally missed it and brought it to the inspection office only to have it fail, I’d be mortified.
