The reason things came to a sudden halt was…

I disassembled it and then ordered the parts, but…they don’t match up.
These days, you can’t disassemble first and then order parts. If it’s a bit older, you get stuck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I’ll work on just the rear caliper that can be assembled.

Same issue here\u2014the piston kit for the external dust-type rear caliper is discontinued.
I thought maybe going without dust seals and going aluminum would have been okay, but it’s better to keep the adventure to a minimum.
As I mentioned before, I found one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The piston kit contents from the GSX1100S series can be used.
Please note that only the pistons and oil seals are usable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s reassuring to check all the OEM parts beforehand.
You can assume human error is always in play. (Myself included.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I switched the bolts to Honda OEM.
Cheap and cool!

When asked about the strength grade,
these bolts have no marking, so I can’t answer.
By reverse-checking the application, we’re good. And lately, I feel like I’m not seeing many low-strength bolts anymore. What do you think?
