I don’t report on parts supply status every time, but

a ton of parts distribution is sluggish, which means work doesn’t progress at all.
Honestly, ordering parts after disassembly has become extremely risky in recent years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we don’t think about how to handle this, there wouldn’t be enough floor space…
Also, for vehicles or jobs that seem risky, we decline <\/strong>them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

First, customers need to decide clearly what work they want done. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have to shut down all casual requests that come up on the spot like “oh, I want that too, and this too.”
Lately, a single gasket or one oil seal can stop all work completely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get high-priced parts as early as possible.

Feel free to buy them yourself (though we need to discuss whether we can take the job, so it’s negotiable).
Items in the 100,000 to 500,000 yen range tend not to arrive quickly these days even when ordered.

Charge it to your card and buy it quick, then keep it on hand, okay?
Parts might become unobtainable, and prices could go up.

Overseas parts delivery is also unclear going forward. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think the Ukraine situation will indirectly affect things in various ways going forward.
The era when you could get anything quickly anytime, anywhere and receive service is probably a thing of the past.
You need to always think ahead about what you want to do.

We’re entering an era when breakdowns can’t be repaired quickly. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If only we had this gasket, we’d be done… but it’s on backorder for six months,
discontinued, or…
The era of diagnosing the problem, ordering the part, swapping it in when it arrives, and calling it done is over.
In a way, I still think Kawasaki Z-series bikes are the most robust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oil-cooled Suzuki bikes, which have few reproduction parts, will need careful consideration going forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep a minimum stock yourself. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You need to stock rubber parts and consumables based on how much time and distance you plan to ride.
If parts are on backorder or have an indefinite delivery date when you request service, we can’t do the work and won’t accept the bike.
We’ll need you to bring it back in once all parts are in.

The shop can’t stock parts for everyone.
