When I remove the carburetor, gasoline starts seeping out.

The tank is reportedly rusted, but not enough in quantity and size to cause overflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The float valve O-ring was worn out and leaking sideways?
It was a pattern where gasoline was gradually seeping in from somewhere other than the needle valve.

The Bandit 1200 doesn’t have this O-ring specification, but the BST carburetor O-ring is also common. Please use this one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems the gasoline was entering from the side of this hole. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was like plastic, all crumbly and flaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you also polish the float valve seat with compound, it should have better sealing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the small carburetor parts we work with here are kept in stock, so we can recover in situations like this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we don’t have it in stock, it’s probably the fastest we can get it by Thursday if we order on Tuesday… so if we really did things properly, the work would never actually be finished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I confirmed all four cylinders at the actual fuel level.
They stopped perfectly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I often use Honda for the air vent hose.
It’s inexpensive and the length and diameter are completely flexible.

The engine starts smoothly and the exhaust sound is stable with a “vroom” sound.
Four cylinders\u2014this is how it should be (*^-^*)
