Why is it that XJR prices don’t seem to go up? I wonder why. It’s so cool… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it’s because it’s a Yamaha? (\uff1b\u2200\uff1b) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right now the work flow is in a bad pattern.
If I don’t start with the vehicles that finish quickly, the rest will back up.
I absolutely have to break this bad routine this year.

Both the front and back have cracks all the way through.
My guess is… the air cleaner box was acting as a stopper to some degree? If you kick it, there’s no way it would hold… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s interference, so I’ll prepare the bevel joint without overdoing it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I roughed up the surface and degreased it thoroughly\u2014all set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It hardened like this, so I reinforced it right away.
If you want it smooth, sand it yourself.

Megamix recommended for resin repair and restoration <\/a>
Gray hardens too fast, so black is recommended (*^-^*) <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terminal didn’t crimp properly, so I fixed it.
If you have these two, I think you can cover most situations.

I went with Shell Advance Ultra 4T 15W-50.

I checked the XJR’s leak-prone release piston and applied metal rubber for lubrication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was pretty dirty since it’s been used a few times on the track, yo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll change the fluid.
The master that sprays fluid everywhere has poor serviceability. I cut and installed a Honda OEM master float (^_-)\u2606 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also changed the front brake fluid.
*The rear was done the other day, so I’ll skip it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
