It’s thicker than the stock cover, so it might actually protect the engine in a crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The oil pressure switch is removed, so the OP light won’t come on anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When removing the left side, it’s good to check the starter clutch center bolt torque for peace of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s how we did the replacement.
We took the liberty of swapping the bolts to the trendy trivalent black finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since we couldn’t see the oil window, we’re replacing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you make a tool that fits perfectly once, you can remove it cleanly every time.

We’re trying to avoid using a box wrench carelessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you make a reliable guide for installation, anyone can do it smoothly.
Good work starts with good tools.
Then we apply liquid gasket to prevent leaks and we’re done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
