Apparently the “San” in ST3 refers to the number of valves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s what’s so frustrating about foreign bikes. I don’t have a 15mm wrench, and I’m not about to buy one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No lock nut, just thread locker\u2014that’s pretty amazing… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I saw the parts that were brought in, I had a really bad feeling…
A pressed-in damper.
Even with a puller, the center slips out, so it won’t grip\u2014this is the kind of problem that’s going to be tough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I see a picture like this where someone’s just hooked the puller directly on, it makes me a little sad (*’\u03c9’*)
They’re putting an enormous load on the other side, and it can dent too.
If you can avoid direct puller attachment, the parts will be safer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not sure if I’ll use it again, but in cases like this I make a base plate.
It takes just a few dozen minutes, works efficiently, and you can use it for practically forever.

Quick fixes don’t help you in the long run\u2014that’s just how life is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve finished all the surfaces with a radius using a deburring tool (*’\u03c9’*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried using a high-quality Hasco puller for the first time in a while, but it spread so nicely that it wouldn’t grip ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here comes the super puller that’s all the rage on Amazon again…
That’s what you call a good product at a good price.
This is a real bestseller, so I recommend keeping one on hand. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how I use that base plate I made earlier.

No worries about where to position the puller scaffold… that’s efficiency through DIY. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, it doesn’t seem to have gone all the way in, so I’ll trim the rubber and hook it to the shell.
