The intake manifolds from this era are secured with Phillips head bolts, so they strip very easily.
With proper tools and equipment in place, the likelihood of that happening drops considerably. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After replacing them countless times, the result is: use a 1\/2-inch socket and press firmly while removing.
This is the strongest method so far. Every single one comes out on the first try (^_-)-\u2606
Smooth progress means no wasted labor charges.

The air vent hose was rubbing against the muffler and getting worn.
