Well then, I’m going to fix up the GS750 and get it running. <\/a>Series.

I’ve thrown out all the old electrical components and I’m agonizing over each part one by one. . . .
I’m wondering what to do about the regulator. . . .
The usual MOSFET is pretty large in size, so laying it out is a hassle.

The more you search the internet, the more information you can find.
But that’s what makes it so troubling. . . . <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It might be the same with everything, but if you didn’t know about it, you’d just stick with what worked before\u2014no problem! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This applies to parts and vendors alike\u2014I make sure not to get entangled in those relationships.

So this time it’s the regulator.
The MOSFET regulator 1D7<\/em>-81960-01 that I’ve been using for a long time has one thing I really dislike. . . .
It’s just so big that it’s a pain to lay out. Even with the fairing off, it should be positioned where maintenance is easier.
Quite a bit of time has passed since this regulator became common, so I was wondering if there might be a sharper regulator out there or something. . . . As I was poking around, I found something in an internet search and decided to order it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s used quite a bit on Yamaha R1 and MT series bikes too, so the confidence level is high.
It looks like it’s also used on Suzuki GSX-S750 and others.
There’s hardly any price difference, so either one should work fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for whether this kind of deliberation is enjoyable or not, honestly, it’s borderline every time.
Searching takes up quite a bit of time, and it’s not like this is a part that sells well after the first go.
Even if I download the GSX-S750 parts list, I’m not sure it’ll be useful. . . . At least I’m not buying it.

As for sales, not many people swap out regulators that frequently as a hobby, so. . . . the numbers won’t be great. . . . right?
