Deciding on the position of the upper cowl involves design considerations, but fundamentally it’s about avoiding problems down the road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I can install it with the stock stem, that’s pretty flexible.
Even if there’s an accident, peace of mind? The main key stays the same. <\/p>Are parts being discontinued something to worry about? Or not?\n\n\n\n

I felt like I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I actually laid it out to see.

I spent a whole day making a flexible upper cowl stay jig~(^_-)-\u2606 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the adjustment below, I can move it forward and backward.
Since it’s loose, the left-right tilt angle is also free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I can check it with the upper cowl installed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I removed the headlight and tightened it together. This lets me move it left and right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there’s no light, I should have adjusted it before…

This one lets me move it up and down. Using the looseness here, I can also position the upper cowl left and right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fixing the upper cowl stay is definitely easier than making this.
