The year-end feeling is thin again this year\u2026 How about for you?

I don’t feel rushed during Golden Week or Silver Week, so why does my mind race when year-end and New Year come around?
When I think about it carefully, it’s only a 4\u20136 day break\u2014there are even longer holidays out there.

Maybe I’m practicing endings gently every year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Year-end parties and New Year celebrations. There was an era when people said drinking was the whole point.
Everyone has experienced painful lessons along the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

COVID has had a big impact, and those kinds of gatherings barely happen anymore. I’m choosing not to attend, and my life is heading in a milder direction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasks like courtesy visits seem to have decreased.
That old strategy of handing out calendars\u2026 is it really necessary?
I wonder about offices packed with calendars just because someone received them.
Someone should probably push to stop the whole distribution at once. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lack of year-end and New Year feeling might be the same for our customers.
Things have changed\u2014people drop off motorcycles or pick them up for delivery differently than in previous years.
It’s strange, isn’t it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since COVID, there have been both good and bad changes.
This is just my view, but even if the coronavirus disappeared, I don’t want to go back to the noisy, constantly hectic daily life we had before.
Last year and a few months ago this year, everyone felt that tomorrow could be their turn.
As 2021 comes to an end, I think it’s time to consider how to live going forward.

But then again\u2026 there are so many things to weigh on the scale.
Next year for sure\u2026 that thought lasts until the 31st and maybe the 2nd.
For now, if you keep doing something that will be a plus for just one year, I think your perspective will broaden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you all for 2021.
Starting in 2022, I hope to reduce the actual workload and improve the quality of our work and service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
