In a world where research and information gathering are so easy,
is it just me who bookmarks things for now and deals with them later? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I end up with around 200 bookmarks piling up. Some of them disappear quickly, so I migrate them to Evernote and reach saturation.
Will I ever actually read these? Will I ever use them? <\/p>I’m torn.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

For example, hunting for OEM parts.
There are options both domestic and overseas.
When I find great sites, data, or images among them, I always want to keep them.
But usually I’m searching because I’m in a pinch, so there’s no time to savor them properly right then.
I think “I’ll come back to this later,” quickly bookmark it, and then more bookmarks pile up as other tasks get added on top.

In my final storage, Evernote, <\/a>things have gotten out of hand.
It’s packed with nearly infinite information: parts, tools, materials, maintenance notes, processing procedures, disassembly data, and more.
It’s fun to read through, but…
I sometimes wonder if there’s any point in organizing all this neatly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since it’s not physical, I can just tag it and search for it later\u2014organizing doesn’t give me that satisfying sense of tidiness.
And it definitely takes a huge amount of time.

In the 20th century, getting this kind of detailed data and information, or finding ways to store it, was incredibly difficult. We’d end up cutting and pasting things into loose-leaf notebooks (how nostalgic!).
In a way it’s a better era now, but we’re drowning in oversupply and can’t digest it all before it piles up.
Ah, I’m bored… I wish I had time next year to read through things carefully. Maybe that’s what I should ask Santa and make my New Year’s wish for… Health comes first, after all. (\/\u03c9)
