Shopping has become so easy… mass consumption, mass production, mass disposal.
It’s a dilemma, isn’t it?
I think it’s best to shop with balance. I can’t really say anything too grand about it, but… <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I think Amazon has become an indispensable part of our lives.

\u2022 Free shipping
\u2022 Sometimes it arrives the next day
\u2022 Returns are easy
\u2022 You can get suspicious items that other e-commerce sites don’t carry
\u2022 You can watch lots of movies
\u2022 You earn points <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Searching is easy, and their AI product recommendations are really good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m just an amateur, so I don’t know, but don’t you sometimes think other e-commerce sites could use a layout similar to Amazon’s (not identical)? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rakuten is really hard to see, and you scroll and scroll forever\u2014it’s so persistent.
Yahoo Shopping just feels… well, you know.
Surprisingly, a lot of shops are out-of-stock and order after purchase, so Amazon is easier, but cancellations and returns have their quirks.
I basically hate Rakuten and Yahoo. Yodobashi’s returns are incredibly tedious too.

I used to sell in-stock items at Yahoo Shopping in-store, but we stopped when they redesigned it. I was shocked at how hard it was to use… (;\u2200;) I couldn’t keep up.

When the parent company gets bigger, there’s more to do and it gets tough, but I’d be happy if Japanese domestic companies could become a bit stronger… what do you think?
