We’ll start with the rear.

The dust seal area had some buildup, but considering the mileage and age, I’d say it’s in good condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We finished it with wet blasting for a smooth, slick surface.
It’s like rejuvenation from the inside out. Feeling like Italian pants today (*’\u03c9’*). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t trust something just because it’s a manufacturer’s product.
Mistakes can happen wherever people are involved. I believe that small, steady efforts bring good results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we’ll overhaul the 30\/34 Brembo caliper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall there’s dirt, probably from the casting and color. Since it’s an anodized caliper, the work is relatively straightforward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so it’s come out clean too, then we completely dry it in the oven before assembly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reuse the pistons and replace the seals and O-rings with new ones.
Why doesn’t Brembo have this O-ring spec?
Make sure you get ones rated for fluid resistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you’ve finished bleeding the fluid, take it apart again and work the piston back and forth\u2014it’s really effective.

The seal seats quickly, so the feel becomes premium right away (*’\u03c9’*). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that’s the front assembly done.
