It’s been a week of oil-cooled Katanas (*^-^*)

Brake caliper OH, fluid exchange, SHELL ADV-U4T oil exchange, and Katana rear reservoir tank installation\u2014that’s the order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Due to time constraints today, I’m going to keep this post a bit light.

The request is to swap out the rear master tank for the genuine Katana one.
We fabricated it from round bar, TO collar, and plate\u2014the most flexible approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partway through, the torch switch we’d just replaced the other day died… I spent nearly an hour troubleshooting.
It kept acting up more and more, and at the end I had a scary moment where the welder would start just by turning on the power…

How nice that we had one in stock at the shop (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce Completely back to life! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inside looks like this. It’s removable with a single M6 bolt (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n
