The stock wheel bearing press-fit area is loose.

A while back, we might have gone with an oversized bearing?
Overbore and install a sleeve, then press in the bearing?

These days, the chemical solutions are pretty amazing… When in doubt, this is the first thing to reach for.
I mean, is it really true that the strongest stuff works at 0.25 MM?

You can see traces of movement.
This time it was really subtle\u2014just a little warmth and it slides right out. When cold, you can’t move it by hand, but tap it and it comes loose.

If you’re stuck with a press fit,
Loctite 648 <\/a>high strength
Loctite 638 <\/a>maximum strength

Make sure to get the small bottles. You won’t use it all in a lifetime…
Even a 10 ML bottle doesn’t get used up here…
