The shopping never stops. Is that good or bad? <\/p>It’s a puzzling situation.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

When it came to shopping, I’d go to Tokyu Hands, home centers, Akihabara\u2014all sorts of places. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can only choose from what’s in stock, so you never discover anything better, and there’s no room to learn.
If you can research anything you want, it’s kind of scary in a way.
The other day my TIG welding torch switch broke, so I ordered a generic Weldcraft switch. <\/a>
I could just buy the same lever-type switch as the Daihen and be done with it, but there’s also a push-button type <\/a>available, so I clicked to order both.
You start dreaming\u2014maybe it’ll be easier to press. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It arrived right away (a few days ago), and I wired it up with a quick-disconnect coupler for easy swapping and installed it.
Here goes\u2014click!
Hmm.
The lever length makes it feel heavy.
I switched back to the lever type.
Click! Yeah! This is it! The lever type really is the reliable finish. I take too many chances and usually fail, but every so often I find a gem that really shines, so I keep doing it obsessively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For better or worse, convenience never stops.
