Year after year, I’m coming to appreciate the beauty of the original design more and more (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce
Let’s start with a tire replacement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The front and rear axle shafts were in good condition (^_-)-\u2606<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wheel runout was also fine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wheel bearings should be fine too. I also lubricated the speedometer cable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replace the TR412 every time! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just applying grease isn’t the answer\u2014it was way too much. I wiped it off. It doesn’t lubricate anything and just gets dirty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replaced the tires with Roadsmart IV.
Dunlop really did their homework\u2014I bet they listed the 150\/70-18 with a compatible rim width of 3.50 specifically for the Ninja. What do you think? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caliper bolts looked a bit dated, so I went ahead and swapped them out for Yamaha bolts.
You really can’t beat iron bolts, you know.
