A completely stock ZZR400, quite rare. The owner has been riding it since it was new, but…

In casual conversation, it turned out that the oil, fluid, and coolant have never been changed since the bike was new.
It’s only done 9,000 kilometers, but it’s already over 10 years old.

I expected much rustier coolant to come out, but surprisingly it was just a slightly darker color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll replace the radiator cap as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fluid had turned a slightly darker color.
I was a bit disappointed\u2014it was less degraded than I expected. (It’s just normal deterioration.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went with Shell Advance Ultra 4T 10W-40 for the engine oil.
Removing the fairing was more of a headache than the actual work. There are quite a few bolts to deal with…
