Current Status:<\/strong> After recovering from severe damage caused by a rear-end truck collision (shrimp bend condition), with frame, suspension, and electrical system repairs complete, the “complete resurrection” is now within reach!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s Work:<\/strong> Correcting (replacing) the bent seat rail, fitting the bodywork, and final tightness checks on various parts\u2014the “remaining work.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The used middle cowl has slightly misaligned holes.
I filed down the damper to install it without stress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seat base is cracked. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, it’s not a problem in use, but it’s definitely cracked.
With that much shrimp bending, it would crack… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m concerned about the clearance when the seat locks, so I applied self-fusing tape.
It just won’t fit perfectly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topped up engine oil and started it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I also checked the carb sync while I was at it.
Just adjusting the rear brake pedal position and switches requires removing the entire right panel…

Almost Completely Revived! Finishing Up the Remaining Work on the GPZ900R (\u00b4\u03c9\uff40)<\/span><\/div>

Vehicle:<\/strong> Kawasaki GPZ900R Ninja. Project:<\/strong> The final stages of the rear-end collision resurrection. Details:<\/strong> We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! After replacing the swingarm, inspecting the front end, and completely rewiring the electrical system with a D-UNIT, we are tackling the final remaining tasks on this rear-ended Ninja. We addressed the severely bent subframe and have finally started mounting the bodywork. Seeing the fuel tank and tail cowl fit perfectly back onto the frame was a huge relief (\u00b4\u03c9\uff40). The bike is finally looking like a Ninja again! We are now performing the final adjustments: checking bolt torques, bleeding brakes, and adjusting cables. Verdict:<\/strong> The resurrection is almost complete. Next up is the final safety check and the much-anticipated test ride!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
