The headlight LED bulb is pretty old and the brightness is iffy, so we’re replacing it.
The blue position bulb won’t do… We swapped it for LED white (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we removed the rear wheel, something was making a clanking noise?
The hub on the sprocket side was completely loose.

Good timing on that tire replacement… It might be a warning your bike is sending you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re all stainless, so we’re switching to steel\u2014my favorite.
For parts under heavy tension like this, when you install them, offset the tolerance in the direction of operation and lock it down to prevent loosening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bolt length seems off compared to the hub thickness and wheel seat thickness… It’s fine though.

I’m thinking we should cut 2-3 wraps and use it!

No issues, so we left it alone and just gently put the cover back on.

The damper mounting point was loose too…
You need to check these now and then. The wheel side was fine though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replaced the front tire too.
We need to check the GS1000’s signature self-canceling + electric push cancel function.
