Oh right. I needed to do this\u2014I masked it, threw it in the barrel polisher, and then gave it a gun coat. I usually swap out the used and painted ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rocker arms were in good condition too. *However, if the cam is new, we replace the rocker arms with new ones at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usually I don’t check it. Supply might be getting tight soon, so I replaced the front chain guide, which is accessible. The rear one can’t be done without splitting the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at this jig, I thought to myself, this is a bit of a hassle\u2026

It has a convex shape that fits into the spark plug hole, so you can insert the dial gauge and measure the piston top directly. Once you make something like this, it saves you a lot of work (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s always like this.

I just go ahead and assemble it\u2026 the cam.
Sometimes it hits, so that’s why I do it, and the result is totally no good, and I end up having to take it apart\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting up the circular cutter on the milling machine is a pain\u2026 I hate it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I need to make a slight elongated hole.
