The left engine hanger bolt has no threads, so I’ll helicoil it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve switched everything over to tangless helicoils.
Compared to tangless helicoils, the old tang-style helicoils feel like such a hassle.
\u2022 Tang insertion is incredibly easy compared to the old way\u2014probably no expert could beat it
\u2022 No need to break off the tang\u2014no more tang extraction headaches or drilling through holes
\u2022 Without the tang, you can reinsert into through holes multiple times\u2014makes dial adjustment easy

Try it once and you’ll be convinced\u2014it’s a product you won’t regret. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I built it myself, it’s easy to work on.
The Watanabe coil is also unitized, so it comes off smoothly.
The connectors are labeled with P-TOUCH, so no need for marking.

Even with aftermarket parts installed, I try to maintain workability and not cause trouble for the next person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s important to remove anything that can be removed before work.

These clip-type connectors can drop into the engine if the person working doesn’t understand them, so honestly they’re a bit risky.
Hose clamps are the same, so constant attention is needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s so spacious that the head cover is easier to remove than on a regular Inazuma 1200. (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cam showed no signs of scuffing and was in good condition. That said, I’m always amazed at how easy Mr. W’s engine cranks.
The oil temperature doesn’t rise at all, which surprises me every time, even though he’s just doing the basics right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
