Today I managed to pull off the impressive feat of going for inspection at the sweet spot times of 9:30 and 11:00 and coming back, and I’m satisfied with myself! (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The axle shaft runout is no problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning doesn’t improve performance.
However, when you keep things clean, you naturally feel more inclined to take care of them, and the next person working on it will feel more motivated to do the job well on a clean bike rather than reluctantly touching a dirty one.
It’s about being kind to both the bike and the people working on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pad grease is worth applying if it’s effective.
However, if the approach is just to apply it just in case, I’d honestly say it’s better not to use it.
It’s like that “just-in-case liquid gasket” element you apply to gaskets…
Marking pads clearly makes things easier when you remove them.
In recent years, same-diameter pads have become more common, and it can catch you off guard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The piston appears to have some kind of DLC coating applied. All operation was excellent.
If you apply too much pad grease, it sticks to the piston like this and becomes a pain to remove. If you’re going to apply it, a thin, minimal coat is best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cleaned the underside of the fender without touching anything else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The axle shaft won’t come out, so… something’s going on.
At first I thought maybe it was bent, but that didn’t seem to be it…

This stabilizer was the culprit. (I’ve adjusted it.)

Many people have this installed, so it’s hard to say, but this part has very little effect, and if you don’t center the fork properly when assembling it, the fork will twist easily. *Be aware that fork movement will also worsen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The order of installation is quite important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cleaned the front fork, oiled it, and ventilated it, then checked the steering operation.
