While I had it off, I polished it.
The thermostat has a slightly offset shape… that’s Honda for you. (Hard to adapt from other bikes.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Used bikes always come with risks, so it’s good to manage them and keep riding.
No functional issues, but it’s corroded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I forgot to order the O-rings, so I placed the order today.

The upper mounting width isn’t enough.
Should I extend the right side or add to the left? Checking for side cowl interference, I decided to add to the left. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wait a minute… let me swap back to the stock radiator and recheck the stroke.
Once you open the inverted fork cap, it strokes as far as it wants.
I’m setting the margin based on the stock contact point plus stroke (RVF is 120 mm). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lower side is pretty tight too.

The upper side touches the head cover, so it can’t go any deeper.
The lower side touches the exhaust pipe, so it barely goes deeper. Will the undertray fit? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t want to write too much, so I’ll let the owner know about three proposal options.
