This GSF1200 is super clean!
The frame is shiny and in a rare condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inspection is complete, so let’s go ahead and replace the wheel bearings! <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

My go-to very cheap bearing puller \u2013

I originally bought it for a slide hammer, so I had zero expectations, but…
Honestly, I haven’t used a proper Hasco one in years.

With just this one tool, you can remove both wheel bearings and the swingarm needle roller bearings, so it’s incredibly handy.

One thing to watch with bearing pullers: don’t bolt the yoke directly to the main body.
It can get scratched or dented.
If you use a yoke, always lay down a backing plate before using the puller\u2014it might really boost the quality of your work. Just a heads-up! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The front looked like it had already been replaced based on the grease amount.
The rear was a bit rough.

Double-sided seals definitely have a longer service life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I prefer non-contact seals. I don’t like the oily feel! Though the real pros always go for contact seals, or it’s just personal preference… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were out of stock on the sprocket-side oil seal, so…
due to shipping costs, I went with a standard spec, and…

Wow, this is really good. It’s low-friction. Maybe I should reconsider our oil seal selection…

Polished it up nicely! The bike’s finish improves with all these little details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
