A sumo wrestling photo came up. I used to go see matches in Ryogoku all the time. <br>They really packed the spectators in tight back then. <br><br>With all these restrictions in place now, the world has changed so much. <br>Things can only get worse, never better, I think&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About a year and a half has passed since COVID started. <br>It feels like I&#8217;m starting to understand it, getting used to it. <br><br>Somehow I&#8217;ve developed my own principles, and lately I&#8217;ve been thinking that as long as I stick to them, I&#8217;ll be fine. <br>But just when I was finally getting used to COVID precautions, an infection surge hit, and my sense of crisis shot up even higher. <br>When customers tell me real COVID stories, I&#8217;m reminded of &#8220;just how contagious is this?&#8221; and I realize it&#8217;s been upgraded significantly. <br><br>As it gets cooler and we head into fall and winter, humidity and temperature will drop\u2014the perfect conditions for the virus. I think the best thing I can do is to prepare myself in the best possible state, so I&#8217;m not a burden to anyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The very act of thinking &#8220;I&#8217;m fine!&#8221; and going out might actually be wrong&#8230; <br>It&#8217;s a real dilemma, isn&#8217;t it? <br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was rummaging through old photos.
