The Interceptor that went up for sale the other day has safely made it back to Tokyo and is now belting out that screaming V4 sound (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce

Since it’s in a quiet residential neighborhood, the owner would like to mellow out the sound a bit.
Let’s take a look (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

First, the tail pipe insertion is loose, so we’ll fix that.
Silencer 50.8\u03c6 \u2013 tail pipe 49.66\u03c6, about 1 mm difference.

It’s got a subtle radius, so I’m wondering whether to go 35 mm or 40 mm…
I’ll expand it to 40 mm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll insert this deep and expand it to about 50 mm length. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we’ve managed to create a 50.8 to 60.5 adapter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, the current silencer. Once we tighten up the insertion, it’s gotten quite a bit quieter…
That’s the impression I get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I temporarily put in our inspection inner silencer… it sounds really good…
I’m thinking this silencer might be fine as is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My own Bright Logic TI 100\u03c6 \u00d7 450 mm
As expected from a straight-through design, it’s gotten louder ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And our inspection SPL silencer for the ZX10R (with catalytic converter)
Naturally, it’s quiet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me test what happens if we temporarily put an inner silencer in.
