The inspection and turn signals that keep falling off, plus fuel cap paint work were requested.

The paint had peeled off and was falling apart. We got a question about whether it would leak.
The corrosion was severe, so we applied rust preventative oil and waited a few days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pin wouldn’t budge, so we gave up.
And the structure itself\u2014wait, you’re not inserting one pin from each side, are you?

Sometimes you just have to accept defeat gracefully. Spending more time doesn’t always help. When replacement is faster and cheaper, it’s time to call it quits. (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning the rim of the fuel cap now and then feels great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the turn signals falling off\u2014we heard it might be the same as ZRX models. We thought that was cool, but the customer wanted a flush-mount design instead of that structure.

They’d be even happier if the hole was hidden.
We looked into Kijima, Daytona, and others. Proto seemed to have sold them too\u2014I have a vague memory of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We felt a bit nostalgic looking at the packaging, then opened it up.
Flush-mount turn signal, Aero Flash, SA022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both sides have a thoughtful design with the center hollowed out.
The hole lines up perfectly, so it looks great. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We degreased it and wondered, “Where exactly should this go?” Then we applied adhesive.
