I only use this for bending really long, thick, heavy pipes.
Even so, it’s tough when fabricating the side stand.

A power wrench is a bit pricey, isn’t it?

I cut the SUS304 16\u03c6 pipe to about 150 mm… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll prepare a manual pipe bender.
Since it’s mandrel-type, it’s less prone to wrinkling… though not completely wrinkle-free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s great about it is that you can bend even such short lengths.
Plus, no heating required… and you can re-bend if needed in the same direction.

Having this versus not having it makes a huge difference in fabrication efficiency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll make it by joining two pieces together, so I’ll fit it to the actual part and make it roughly.

If you look closely, it’s got a bit of a five-pack belly to it. It doesn’t match the Kawasaki OEM water pipe… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I weld pipe A and pipe B in any direction, then combine the round boss and round rod assembly to complete it.
I should have bent the round rod into an L-shape to gain more area (distance)…
But at our shop’s level, it’s side work, so I’ll let it slide (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was able to simplify the breather routing, which was a layout headache on ZRX models (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bead roller isn’t working well, so it’s a bit loose… I’ll fix it and spread it out.
I’ve set it up so it can be routed either on the carb side or toward the rear of the frame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
