When I was younger, I thought smaller mirrors looked cooler, you know?
But now that I’m solidly middle-aged, I’ve come to think “something reasonably large and stable is best.”
I think the odds of getting pulled over and the odds of getting rear-ended both go way down.
For bikes around the ZRX era there’s no problem, but for newer bikes where the right side has to be reverse-threaded, be careful when you buy… <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Making brackets has been a pain lately… Plate is fine! The customer signed off, so I made it in titanium.

When making brackets from plate or pipe and rod stock, I always use the “bend it twice” rule and it looks right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightly vacuum-bleeding the master cylinder improves the feel of the lever.
It’s possible to work faster and more reliably than with normal bleeder valve opening and closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
