The exhaust pipe nut flew off, and I gave it my best shot, but…
The stud bolt threads seem to be messed up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been thinking since last night about how to weld a nut onto such a recessed stud and then remove it this morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took a close look to check the current condition, and… <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Hmm? The pitch looks fine… it doesn’t seem to be 1.25.
After checking, it turned out to be M7-P1.0 after all.

That’s so typical… the SP2 is pretty esoteric. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since we can’t take it in today, this is a temporary fix for now.
I made a replacement part by installing an M7-P1.0 helicoil into a 7075 aluminum square bar with a 14 mm flat width to handle it (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce
Due to the exhaust pipe layout, we can’t tighten it normally, so I’ve adjusted the nut height.
