Now, fluid has been seeping from the Brembo radial brake master.
At the same time, the Brembo radial clutch master has started making a clicking noise.

Everything seems to go bad at the same time… I’m thinking maybe I should disassemble the brakes too… and that’s how it goes.
Back in the day, there was a shop called BSE (Brake System Engineering) up in Kamiike\u2014that was a joke\u2014
and they were a Brembo dealer.
Their genuine parts are super old. Since I can’t prove they’re current genuine stock, I’m going to do an overhaul myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

They sell it? A thing called a spiral spinner\u2014the customer sourced it for me. <\/a>
You really want to be able to get repair parts easily. Peace of mind! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The O-rings aren’t supplied by Brembo, so we’ll use aftermarket ones.
I wish they’d sell them…
They’re styrene-butadiene O-rings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll check the dimensions on the new piston set.
The machining is beautifully done, as you’d expect in the 21st century. The anodizing looks like it has excellent lubrication properties too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The old one has a kind of warmth to it\u2014you can feel the handwork\u2014which is actually nice in its own way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspecting and assembling everything carefully really boosts your confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After cleaning and drying. True to form for an anodized caliper\u2014there was hardly any buildup, so cleanup was super easy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That completes both sides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customer decided to just go with a new master…
Considering everything, we’re moving forward in parallel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customer picked it up, so all I have to do is install it.

I forgot to order the mirror holder\u2014a careless mistake\u2014so we’re pausing for now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I replaced the rear without overhauling it.
Considering the possibility of heel contact, I made the mounting bolts ultra-low-profile and slim.
