A BST enthusiast has requested carburettor overhaul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They don’t want to disassemble the four-carb setup themselves, the fuel seals need replacing soon, and they want the actual fuel level adjusted.

That’s very wise indeed (^^\u266a <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It could’ve been done quickly, but timing’s been off lately (*’\u03c9’*)
Work is progressing, though we’re only partway through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Now let’s disassemble the carburettor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always think whoever invented the carburettor stand was a genius.
The fuel passage location and diameter are pretty similar across most carburetors…
Reading old biker magazines, you’d find some master craftsman having an “aha!” moment\u2014and that was the carburettor stand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No rust and in excellent condition \u2605 Since they maintain it regularly themselves, the condition is outstanding! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The float is still in great shape… thinking back to that carb from the other day, it was pretty bad. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s just rubber after all. You really want to replace it after ten years.
If you keep using the four-carb setup for 20-some years without taking it apart, it’ll hit you suddenly… gradually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was torn on it, but I went ahead and coated it.
Working in a way you won’t regret gives peace of mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I think I’ve messed up an order, I usually have stock on hand, so we’re safe (*’\u03c9’*)

The BST starter valve is cheap and nice
Suzuki’s always been like that, and it gets me nostalgic ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Got some top-tier block, slide valve, and diaphragm pieces… that kind of vibe. Recent sellers are pretty hardcore, and so are the buyers, I guess. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hole diameter is… large. It might be enlarged or from a 1100K or something (vague memory)
I’ll assemble it with stock specs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
