First we cleaned the brake calipers. There was some light rust, but the operation was good.
The pads are about half worn, so it might be worth considering the discs as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You really want to change brake fluid at least once every two years.
The rear master cylinder cap nut got rusty and seized. . . it wouldn’t come off, so we had to remove the tank separately to deal with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good thing we had an M4 nut on hand\u2014we managed to get it sorted (\u03a6\u03c9\u03a6) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We replaced the pad pins, springs, and beta pins with new ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did carburetor synchronization and PS adjustment, and replaced the spark plugs.
We also did a quick fuel additive treatment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50 10W-50.

The bike is starting to show signs of wear overall, so we’ll announce more as we go.
After a test ride, we’ll be done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
