The coolant was splashing a bit, so we did a test ride with a temporary assembly during maintenance.

Without the fairing it doesn’t cool down at all… or so it seemed. It’s quite an innovative radiator layout.
We’ll do a Deco-mainte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Let’s check the axle shaft. No issues found.

Lately we’ve been replacing hub dampers pretty often because we’re being cautious.

You never know when rubber parts will give out… right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cleaned up the calipers too. At first I thought, hmm, this might be bad, but it’s working great now so we’ll keep using it for now.
We also replaced the split bolts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We degreased the brake disc and cleaned out the holes.
With this type of brake hose, it’s better to check it occasionally when the caliper is removed.

We’ve had cases where it came loose before… so be careful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does the rear really need to be 190? I think a 180 would let it lean even more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cleaned up the fender underside and inside the swingarm.

We lubricated the levers, throttle, and pedal (from the outside since they have sealed bearings). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the manual… there’s no drain plug… right?
The cover is magnesium with HRC written on it, which looks cool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The request is to clean up the ETC antenna and lamp.
Since we’re lazy, the easier we can make it, the cheaper it is.

Time and effort = higher labor costs.
Balancing parts price, finish quality, and labor is always the tricky part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
