Suzuki has a lot of discontinued parts lately… I wonder if everything’s okay.
And that means our workload keeps growing.

What used to be a simple matter of entering a part number and ordering is now something we have to hunt down.
At least the internet exists…
Honestly, things are getting more complicated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The names differ between overseas and domestic markets, which suggests demand isn’t really for the B-KING.

One set contains everything needed for a caliper OH.
Since they’re sold separately, you might think you can get them anytime, but if you’re planning an OH in the future, I’d recommend picking one up and keeping it on hand.

For a complete bike, I think it’s incredibly reasonable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anodized calipers are extremely corrosion-resistant.
I get the impression that cases where corrosion has eaten into the body itself are rare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After cleaning, we air-blow and completely dry in an oven before assembly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s double-check the piston too.
It’s the same 3034 as Brembo, so if you’re using a thin caliper support, I’d definitely recommend sticking with Nissin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that’s how we completed the caliper OH.

Once it breaks in, the operation will be smooth as silk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also fabricated the brake hose cleanly. The TEE-FIT is secured with a plate. Of course, there’s no problem even when turning the handlebars fully left or right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our shop doesn’t install commercially available hoses.

Nothing beats a custom fit to the actual bike.
It’s not just about length\u2014we want to install it without any twisting.

Some might think a Swaged Line style is fine because it’s free-floating, but even then you’d need to check the tightness every time you remove the caliper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve seen plenty of bikes where the caliper comes off, goes in a bag, and then\u2014oops\u2014the brake hose has loosened up.
With brakes, I’d rather have fewer things to check. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also replaced the step rubber.
You should replace rubber parts while they’re still available.

Next, we swapped the battery for an AGM Pro battery and we’re done!
