I changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50 10W-50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rear brake is all squishy, so…

It’s definitely squishy. Just to be safe, I bled it. There’s a lot of dead stroke. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First things first: I cleaned the caliper and checked the piston operation.
It was appropriately stiff… (improved). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caliper center might be the culprit? That’s what we discussed when we met…

There does seem to be something there… You can check it by clamping it alone, which is fine.
It’s a rough check, but it’s subtly effective. Center misalignment isn’t the issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll change the fluid too. I also replaced the diaphragm.
