Choosing DRC because we wanted a steel final drive turned out to be a bad call…
We went with the reliable DID chain.

Sunstar started selling chains too, so I’d like to test them out. <\/a>
It seems to be delivering pretty sharp performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hmm, something’s not right here…
The stock washer is M8, but it’s not threaded… and it’s actually M10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was nothing for it but to use an adapter or spacer to make it work.
That was close\u2014it almost became dead stock… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We extended the chain guide, checked for contact, and replaced the clutch wire.
All done! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
