We’ve reassembled the left side like this. It needs a relay for hazard light compatibility.

I’d like to replace the meter harness, but it was pretty gnarly, so
I kept it as short and simple as possible without any unnecessary modifications. It takes over an hour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping things simple means you won’t groan when you have to touch it next time. The less visible the spot, the more carefully you should do the work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve swapped the bulbs for LEDs. Only the FUEL indicator remains a bulb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The turn signal relay is absolutely reliable\u2014Daytona (new model).

So far there’s been no failure\u2014you just pull it out and plug it back in, really just swap it out.
The mounting damper is solid too, and it usually just slides right in.

Aftermarket parts keep getting better every year.
