When you think about it, it might have been the longest continuously sold single model.
The GSX-R changes rapidly, and other 1200-class bikes last maybe two to three years.

Only the Bandit kept the same face for five years, and even sold the K6 at the very end.
With such long continuous sales, where did they all go? <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

During inspection, we check the tire manufacturing date.
It’s easy to forget when you last changed them. (You get renewal notices for your license and insurance, but tires are your own responsibility.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clean the chain thoroughly and oil it well all the way to the core. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also clean the inside of the fender.
Honestly, whether you clean it or not doesn’t affect performance.

We lift the front to check steering operation and clean the fork inner tubes.

We had polished it once before, but re-polishing made it clean again.

Once in a while, replacing the shift rubber feels great.

We replaced the brake fluid with Golden Cruiser DOT4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We rust-proof and clean the small details. The fuel cap opens and closes smoothly when you oil and clean it occasionally. Clean the sides too.
The key also benefits from occasional debris removal so it works smoothly\u2014that’s what I hope for anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battery side and monitor side voltage.

People sometimes ask, “Is that the correct voltage?” but…
The reading shows “the voltage at the point where the meter is measuring,” so it varies by location, making it hard to say what’s correct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the manual, is it the battery? If you want to know the battery voltage and there’s a difference like in the image, you could note it as a percentage difference or, for a rough estimate, something like +0.8V. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
