Organizing each part and cleaning and so on\u2014it’s only five or ten minutes of effort, but the more you do it, the more certain you can be. Performance doesn’t change, but assembly-wise, I’m confident there’s no mistake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Then I noticed I’d missed coating one spot, so I gave it a spray with the gun coat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also replaced the exhaust pipe nuts (iron, trivalent black).
Stainless isn’t bad, but if something goes wrong, it’s hell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We removed the oil cooler, so I cut out the unnecessary parts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fins look really porous and should cool well… I hope it does. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By part number, it looks like a ZRX1200. We’ll convert this and change the hazard to a fan switch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switches are amazing, you know? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super analog, isn’t it? In this day and age… turning things on and off with switches one by one… it’s wonderful. And the fact that they don’t break easily is even more amazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high beam wasn’t working, and we had quite a time with it. (Now resolved.)
