1 <\/td>Performance rank <\/em>(no unit) <\/td>A number representing the battery’s performance rank; the higher the number, the better the starting performance and capacity. \u203bBelow 50: increments of 2; 50 and above: increments of 5 <\/td><\/td><\/tr>
2 <\/td>Short side size of battery <\/em>(JIS standard width \u00d7 case height classification) <\/td>The short side size of the battery, width \u00d7 case height (terminal height not included). Represented by A through H; the later the letter in the alphabet, the larger the size. <\/td><\/td><\/tr>
3 <\/td>Long side length <\/em>(cm) <\/td>The length of the battery’s long side (cm) is expressed directly as a number. For D23, it translates to approximately 23 cm. <\/td><\/tr>
4 <\/td>Terminal position <\/em>(three types: L, R, or no symbol) <\/td>When viewing the positive side short face of the battery: if the + terminal is on the left side\u2026 L type; if the + terminal is on the right side\u2026 R type. It had turned completely black\u2026 that was dangerous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Monday had to go for inspection

Battery was weak so charged it

Inspection complete, loaded two bikes and tried to start the engine (wouldn’t start)

Tried the booster I brought just in case but still wouldn’t start

Turned the starter with all my heart and it fired up, so I drove back slowly

Gas was critically low but somehow made it back to the shop

The battery I ordered arrived Thursday but was damaged with fluid leaking

Had to go for inspection Friday so drove it myself.

Today, Sunday, the replacement battery arrived and it’s all settled (‘\u03c9’)\u30ce
