Lately, Kawasaki’s packaging looks really cool. It’s great.
The OEM brake disc turned out to be more affordable than Sunstar.

The center bore is pretty loose! So I secured it while thinking, “That’s so Kawasaki\u2026” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t want the thread locker to grip too hard since it’s scary to remove, so I used half strength.

If it’s positioned higher, even if it breaks by some chance, it might be safer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bearings should be fine. I’m the type who always removes the speedometer cable.
It’s easier to tell when the wheel is seated properly with that satisfying click, and it gives me more peace of mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going back a bit: you need to clean the threads with a tap, or a lot of thread locker residue will remain, so watch out.

That sound a brand-new brake disc makes is so nice \u2013 that “shoo-shoo” sound~ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you get a professional wash, the cast iron discoloration comes right off.

It looks so clean you’d think it was repainted \u2013 I really want to know how they do it\u2026

Single-piston calipers sometimes improve slide operation when you replace the boots.
